Nagyon fontos, hogy soha ne feledkezzünk meg a biztonságról, akkor sem, amikor csak egy üdítő zuhanyt veszünk! Hogy mire érdemes figyelni?
A zuhanytálca felülete túlnyomórészt sima és csúszós, így könnyen elveszíthetjük egyensúlyunkat, megcsúszhatunk, és eleshetünk. Annak érdekében, hogy ezt megelőzzük, érdemes olyan zuhanytálcát vásárolnunk, mely bordázott, rácsozott felületű. Meglévő zuhanytálca esetén, utólag is beszerezhetünk csúszás-mentesítőt, ilyen esetben azonban érdemes kikérnünk szakember tanácsát.
Ugyanez vonatkozik a padlószintben kialakított zuhanykabinokra is, hiszen a kerámia nedvesen épp olyan csúszós, mint a zuhanytálca. Ezen felül erősen ajánlott legalább egy kapaszkodó kialakítása.
Egészségünk érdekében rendkívül fontos a zuhanyzás utáni alapos szellőztetés, hiszen a pára hosszútávon penészedést okozhat, mely nem csak esztétikailag kellemetlen, de egészségünkre is igen veszélyes. Egy megbízható, jól karbantartott elszívó rendszer természetesen még inkább megfelelő a feladatra.
